The history of this bicycle brand begins in the capital of the Czech Republic, Prague, where a company with the famous name "Universe Agency" was founded in 1990. At first, the company was only engaged in the import of bicycle components, and it was not possible to find special fame. But three years later, in 1993, the production and import of bicycles from Asia was established. This date is considered the official birthday of Author bikes. Thus, today, the production and quality control of this company's products are concentrated in Asia, and technical development and management are in Europe.
